Australia narrowly missed a spot in the top ten of the WSF Women’s World Team Championships, despite coming back from one down to beat Switzerland and secure the win in the third and last match of the 9th-12th place round robin.

Australia drops opening WTTC match against strong USA team

Australia started its WSF Women's World Team Championships campaign with a loss overnight in Cairo. In what was expected to be a tough opening match against the tournament seed no.2, Australia was defeated 3-0 (3-0, 3-0, 3-0) by the USA.

Australia to face team USA in first pool match

The WSF Women’s World Team Championships are about to get underway tomorrow Saturday 10 December in Cairo, Egypt, where four days of pool matches will determine the eight teams who will advance to the knock-out rounds.

Squash Australia welcomes new President

Matt Schmidt was announced on Sunday as the new President of Squash Australia, after being elected by the Squash Australia Board following the Annual General Meeting. Schmidt replaces exiting President Jo Brodie in the position following her decision to stand down after 5 years of service.

The inaugural Nations Cup came to an end yesterday after a great weekend of Squash in Tauranga, New Zealand. England were crowned first Nations Cup champions defeating New Zealand in the final of a new squash event intended to trial changes to the traditional competition and scoring formats used at official tournaments, including those on the PSA Tour.

Pan Pacific Masters Day One

The Pan Pacific Masters Squash tournament kicked off yesterday at the Gold Coast's Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium. The tournament features individual games with ages ranging from under 55 to over 70, as well as doubles competitions in men's, women's, and mixed categories. Day one saw local favourites take the lead and some major wins in the 5th game for some of our Pan Pacific Master athletes.
