SquashLevels officially launched in Australia

Squash Australia (SQA) has teamed up with the world's most advanced squash rating system, SquashLevels, to bring the national squash-playing community together.

The landmark new partnership was announced in late 2021, and now the SquashLevels platform is ready to be integrated at the social, grassroots, club, and elite level right around the country, to digitally revolutionise the sport for players of all levels.

As part of the partnership, from today the Squash Australia community will be able to claim a SquashLevels account. The account will give users access to their competition data and an innovative rating to track their playing level and monitor their performance. Plus, SQA members will receive 25% off premium membership plans.

The partnership will also see both organisations working together over the next 12 months to enhance the national rankings system.

This new national ranking system is another important step in SQA’s commitment to improving its systems. It follows the recent announcement of the Squash Australia Learning Centre, and the transition to a new national registration and competition management platform with revolutioniseSPORT.

“Squash Australia has taken some huge steps in recent months to provide the Squash community with technology that will enhance the participant experience, and to streamline our processes,” said Squash Australia CEO, Robert Donaghue.

“We are looking forward to the Squash community having access and interacting with the SquashLevels platform. Over the next 12 months, we will also be working to migrate our national ranking system to SquashLevels to provide a more streamlined and accurate rating and rankings process.”

Over the last six years, SquashLevels has seen great levels of adoption within the UK, with players using it as part of their regular squash routine. After re-launching the brand in 2020, which included a significant overhaul of the website, SquashLevels is working with national squash federations globally to create a more connected community of squash players.

SquashLevels Commercial Director Jethro Binns said they’re delighted to have partnered with Squash Australia.

“We’re excited about this partnership, we are looking to create a global community of squash players who are part of an international rating system. This will bring huge benefits to the sport and we are excited that Squash Australia have become one of the early adopters. We are excited about the new opportunities that Squash Australia will have to communicate with players in a meaningful way, whilst providing unique insights and access to data that has previously been unavailable to players of all levels.”

SquashLevels founder and director Richard Bickers said the adoption of the platform by major federations is already changing the landscape for elite and recreational squash players globally.

"SquashLevels has been a labour of love over the last few years, I'm excited by the response of a number of major federations now who are seeing the potential benefit of the platform,” said Bickers.

“We know that players love the site and get great satisfaction from being able to monitor their performances. There is clearly an amazing opportunity here to create a truly global community of squash players with everyone working together to build something fantastic.”
