Squash Australia pens deal with squash.com.au

Squash Australia is pleased to announce a three-year deal with squash.com.au which will see the specialist website become its Official Retail Partner.

As part of the deal, squash.com.au will also become the Official Retail Partner of the 2023 WSF World Junior Championships in Melbourne and host a tournament shop at Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.

“Squash.com.au is the premier online marketplace for players to purchase anything squash-related so it’s only fitting that Squash Australia has been able to form a partnership with the market leader,” said Robert Donaghue, Squash Australia CEO.

“Our two organisations have a synergy in wanting to see the sport grow and it’s fantastic that squash.com.au is coming on the journey with us as we strive to attract one million participants to the sport over the next decade.”

Not only will Squash Australia benefit directly from the deal, customers will also have the opportunity to support the national body’s Junior Development Fund via donations at the online checkout.

Steve Walton from squash.com.au said the timing was right for the partnership with both organisations looking to take the sport to every corner of the nation.

“Squash in Australia is heading in the right direction and squash.com.au is excited to be a part of that,” said Walton. “I’m lucky enough to travel around the country and meet so many people who love the game and want to see the sport grow and grow.

“Squash.com.au is able to ensure that it doesn’t matter whether you are in the biggest city or smallest country town, how good you are or how often you play, everyone can get access to the best brands and all the latest and greatest gear.”

The deal follows the announcement earlier this year that Salming will continue as the Official Squash Racquet and Shoe of Squash Australia and naming rights partner of the Salming Next Gen Squad for the next three years.
