New Squash Australia Nominations Committee Chair

The Board of Squash Australia is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Dean GAICD FIAA as the new Chair of the Nominations Committee.

With strong professional experience within the finance industry, Jenny has more than a decade of experience on boards and committees of various organisations, in particular Basketball NSW where she was elected its first-ever female Chair in 2019.

Matt Schmidt, Squash Australia President, said Jenny’s experience will further strengthen not only the Nominations Committee but the organisation as a whole.

“On behalf of the Board, it is a pleasure to welcome Jenny as the new Chair of the Nominations Committee,” said Schmidt. “Her experience in all aspects of sports governance is truly impressive, and she will also bring an independent voice to the Committee which always adds a new and different perspective.

“Her leadership skills are first class and we welcome the contribution she will make to Squash Australia.”
