MacKerras Appointed as National Officiating Coordinator

Squash Australia has announced the appointment of Dick MacKerras as the National Officiating Coordinator and Chair of the National Officiating Panel. The first meeting of the newly appointed panel took place on Wednesday, 1 March.
The National Officiating Panel is comprised of squash officials from various states in Australia, including David Mulcahy from Tasmania, Luke Jamieson from Western Australia, Mark Mason from New South Wales, Anthony Morris from Victoria, John Small as the Interim National Appraiser Panel Chair, and Jordan Till as the WSO Regional Delegate.
The primary focus of the Panel is to provide strategic advice and support to Squash Australia regarding the development, education, and certification of officials. The Panel will work closely with Squash Australia to ensure that officials across the country receive the necessary training and support required to maintain high standards of officiating.
As the National Officiating Coordinator, Dick MacKerras will provide a reporting link with Squash Australia regarding the National Officiating Panel, policy liaison, and funding.
