Iqbal takes fourth event

Pakistan's Nasir Iqbal's has won his fourth PSA Challenger Tour event of the Australian winter,  taking out the 2024 Volkswagen Bega Open.

Having already won events in Bendigo, Shepparaton and Hobart, Iqbal dropped just two games in five matches to claim the title, defeating last week's Eastside Open winner Robin Gadola (SUI) in the semis before taking down Hong Kong's second seed Matthew Lai in the Final.

In the women's draw, top seed and world number 69 Cheng Nga Ching (HKG) got past Madison Lyon (QLD) in the semi-finals before beating Sophie Fadaely (QLD) in four games in the final.
