School Locker, Team Sport Licensee for New Balance, have extended their partnership with Squash Australia by signing on as Official Apparel Partner of the 2023 WSF World Junior Championships in Melbourne.
Having joined forces with Squash Australia in 2021, the partnership provides the sport’s community with greater access to quality sportswear and footwear.
Extending that partnership to this year’s premier event on the domestic squash calendar was a natural progression for the relationship and one which will further enhance July’s tournament.
“We’re really glad to have School Locker and New Balance on board to support the 2023 World Junior Championships,” said Robert Donaghue, Squash Australia CEO.
“All staff and volunteers will be decked out in uniforms designed and provided by New Balance and they will also produce official World Junior Championships merchandise.
“Their apparel always looks great, they take an innovative approach which aligns with our vision so it’s only fitting New Balance is going to be part of this great event.”
The apparel will be available for purchase during the event in July at Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre.
“We see our relationship with Squash Australia as a genuine partnership, so once we knew Melbourne was hosting the World Junior Championships we jumped at the chance to get on board,” said Dean Howard, New Balance Country Manager Australia/New Zealand.
“When we partnered with Squash Australia in 2021 we were excited by the resurgence the sport was determined to make in this country and hosting a tournament of this quality is evidence of that.
“We are really proud that New Balance will play a prominent role in what is no doubt going to be an amazing spectacle of squash this July.”
