As Lobban and cousin Cameron Pilley partner up again for Birmingham 2022 to defend their gold medal from the Gold Coast 2018, Lobban could also meet her husband Greg Lobban on the court.

Commonwealth Games stars Turnbull and Hedrick crowned Australian National Champions

Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games representative Rex Hedrick and Birmingham bound athlete Jess Turnbull have been crowned Australian National champions after an epic finals showdown at Darwin Squash Centre today. After four action packed days, Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games debutant Jess Turnbull took out the women’s title, with Gold Coast 2018 team member Rex Hedrick crowned men’s champion.

Darwin primed to host finals of Australian National Championships

Day three of the Australian National Championships saw the U23 and Graded competitions take to the court for the first time. At Darwin Squash Centre, the Open Men’s and Women’s also took to the court for the semi finals, with tomorrow’s National Championship playoffs decided.

Young guns shine on the first day of Australian National Championships in Darwin

The 2022 Australian National Championships got underway last night at Darwin Squash Centre with a handful of matches in the Men’s Open competition. Despite being six seeds lower than his opponent, Gregory Chan advanced to the quarterfinals with a 3-2 (11-5, 11-7, 3-11, 2-11, 11-9) victory over No.5 seed David Turner.

2022 South Australia Open & Junior Championships wrap

The South Australian PSA Open and South Australian Junior Championships wrapped up on the weekend with Alex Haydon and Mike Corren taking the top honours. 2022 Australian National Championships Preview

Five of Australia’s athletes bound for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games will headline the Australian National Squash Championships, which will get underway in Darwin this week, from 23-26 June. 2022 Australian Junior Championships heads to Western Australia

Squash Australia is excited to announce the 2022 Australian Junior Championships is headed to SquashWorld Mirrabooka in Western Australia from 27 September to 2 October. Squash Australia legend Barbara Slotemaker de Bruine recognised in Queen's Birthday Honours

Squash Australia would like to congratulate Barbara Slotemaker de Bruine AM on her recognition in this year’s Queen’s Birthday Honours, as a Member of the Order of Australia (AM). Barbara was National Coaching Director from 1988 to 1992, became Australian Coach of the Year in 1993, and was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from Squash Australia in 2010 for her services to squash over 50 years.

Facility Spotlight: Thornleigh Squash Centre

Squash NSW alongside Member for Hornsby and Treasurer Matt Kean MP officially opened the newly upgraded Thornleigh Squash Centre in May. Located north of the Sydney CBD, Thornleigh Squash Centre was built in 1979 and has had limited upgrades since that time.
