2023 AMSA Trans–Tasman Test Team

The Australian Masters Squash Association Inc is delighted to announce the 2023 Australian Trans-Tasman Team which will compete in a three-Test series against New Zealand in October for the Vic Belsham Shield.

Squash Australia launches LGBTQ Inclusion Policy on IDAHOBIT

May 17 is IDAHOBIT, the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia and Transphobia. As a Pride in Sport member, Squash Australia is committed to creating welcoming, inclusive environments and supporting LGBTQ athletes, coaches and officials.

Australian Squash Tour to relaunch this year

Squash Australia is excited to relaunch the Australian Squash Tour in 2023. Each year Squash Australia will invite 8-12 events to form the AST, with tournaments selection based largely on the level of competition and a spread of geographical locations.

Level 1 Coach Certification Course (QLD)

A Level 1 Coach Certification Course will be held in Brisbane next month on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May. The two-day course will be held at Acacia Ridge Squash Centre from 9am to 5pm. 

City Tattersalls Group sign on again for 2023 Australian Open

Squash Australia is pleased to announce City Tattersalls Group has once again come on board to sponsor a feature event on the international calendar. The 2023 City Tattersalls Group Australian Open will be played from 8 to 12 November in Sydney and is set to see our domestic stars once again take on the world’s best.

Successful AJO title defences for Oscar and Maddy

Oscar Curtis and Madison Lyon have successfully defended their titles at the 2023 Australian Junior Open at Melbourne Sports Centres today. Curtis (WA) won the U19 boys event for the third straight year while Lyon (QLD) was able to win back-to-back girls U19 titles. Both players were convincing in their victories, winning their finals without dropping a game. In fact, both conceded just one game throughout the entire tournament.

Over 200 players in action on AJO day one

Day one of the 2023 Australian Junior Open is in the books with more than 160 matches contested over nine hours of competition at Melbourne Sports Centres.

Talent hits Melbourne for the Australian Junior Open 

The best young squash players in the country have descended on Melbourne this week for the 2023 Australian Junior Open. The significance of the event is heightened this year with Melbourne Sports Centres also set to host the WSF World Junior Championships in July.
